5.0 out of 5 stars Keeps you from getting burned!, February 27, 2011

This rash guard works great! I didn't get the slightest bit burned. I bought 2 sizes larger than I normally wear based on the reviews. The XL was perfect (I'm normally a medium). Last year I got a really bad sunburn on my first day of surfing in Costa Rica. This year, no burn thanks to the O'Neill rash guard, Neutrogena 100, and Shiseido face stick (nothing works as well as zinc oxide). I ended up wearing the rash guard a lot to prevent burning. It wicks away sweat and dries fast too.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not good for grappling!, December 21, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
I know this shirt is technically for surfing purposes, but I figured it would be okay for a grappling rash gaurd. You're better off getting a $15 thermal shirt from Target. This shirt is a little short in the sleeves and body, so it rides up easily. Also, it started to wear out under the arms/side of the shirt where it rubs together.
