His batting coach suggested this training aid to help him not hold the bat in the curve of his thumb, but more with his fingers. During batting practice, he uses it and even though he ssays it initially feels odd, he does seem to relax the grip on the bat more and lead with his bottom hand. He only uses it for batting practice.Ok, I ijust asked my son.
