We were about to go on a 7 day caribbean cruise and we knew she'd need a long sleeve shirt to swim in. She loves blue so the color was a big hit. Overall it fit very well and worked perfect. Not a single burn on her neck or arms. She never complained about wearing it as she said it was "comfy" but the neck hole is very small. Getting it on and off is a bit of a chore and took a few tries to find a way of getting it on her with her crying as the neck hole is seriously small. After a weeks usage every day in the pool and ocean water it still looks good but best of all no sunburn. She is 4 and we ordered the size 4. As i said fit was perfect but the neck hole. (short and skinny for her age). Based on the measurements of the O'Neill rash guard, we ordered a size 4 for her. It fits her perfect! It is skin tight, just like it is supposed to be.It rides up a tiny bit at the waist in the water, but I just make sure she has sunscreen on there or is wearing a one piece bathing suit under the swim shirt. The neck hole is rather small and a parent has to help her put it on and off because of this issue, but if the neck hole was any bigger, there would be a big gap around her neck, needing more sunscreen! But the shirt is a GREAT fit, perfect sizing according to the size charts and I would definitely buy this product again. We have a blue size 6 for her brother (49" tall, 58 pounds) and it just finished it's second swimming season. My son will turn 7 in two weeks. He weights almost 50 lbs, he's overall at about 60 percentile for his age. I bought size 10. The shirt fits very nice, skin tight but not uncomfortable. The neck hole is a big problem. We struggled to put it on. To take off the shirt (dry & wet), we tried several times and it just won't give. After several attempts, we were able to remove it, but it left a red ring around his face because it was stuck there. I can tell you that my son's head is not big. I then tried it on our daughter who just turned 3, 90 percentile group, and the neck hole barely goes through. What a waste of money because if he can't take it off himself in the men's bathroom so what good does this do?
