I use this CD quite often to place myself into a sound and solid sleep, whether it be for an afternoon nap or a full night's sleep. This CD never fails to put me out quickly and deeply and I awaken refreshed everytime. I give this an A+++ I have a couple of other CDs from Dr. Jeffrey Thompson, and although they are relaxing a very enjoyable, they don't put me to sleep as easily and quickly as this one does. My husband and I love the sound of the ocean waves gentling rolling, and crashing. This one works very well to lull you to sleep like real ocean waves. Most importantly there are no annoying noises or sounds mixed in to wake you up, like animals, foghorns, or seagulls. Just pure peaceful water. I made a point to get a CD that was for putting you into the deep Delta brain waves of deep sleep. I don't know if that's the reason for it's success in doing the job or not, but regardless it is very very relaxing and does put us to sleep! I have problems with sleep and this has been wonderful for me! 12 of 12 people found the following review helpful Works Great, This review is from: Sleepy Ocean (Audio CD) 10 to 15 mins of listening and I'm out cold for the rest of the night. I hit the repeat button and don't wake up until the alarm clock goes off. I have trouble staying asleep for more than two hours at a time and when I listen to this I have no problems. The delta waves in the background really help with winding my mind down. |
