It seemed to me that a cross-cut shredder would be sufficient for my household's needs (utility bills and check statements mostly), but my husband is only interested in the best. We argued over 8 sheet vs. 15 sheet capacity, auto-reverse functions, digital disc shredding and could never come to an agreement. Imagine my surprise when last night a huge truck appeared at our driveway and off-loaded this magnificent 14,000 pound disintegrator! I just couldn't believe it! Now we don't just shred our sensitive materials, we disintegrate them! Well worth the $127,768.27 and it comes with free shipping! My only complaint is that I have to wear goggles and earphones while operating the Datastroyer. We tried everything to get rid of them: Gnome-Be-Gnot pellets, Gnighty Gnight Gnome spray and Gnome Gneutralise traps. Nothing worked, they kept coming back.The stress was too much and at a community baking sale I just cracked and blurted out to the neighbors about our gnome problem. Everyone started talking and it soon became clear that the gnomes had been invading almost every backyard. It was a real problem. We were all so relieved to find the Datastroyer Model 1000 Disintegrator. The paltry cost of $127,769.27 was covered by our homeowners association fees and immediately a pavilion was constructed to accommodate our soon to arrive 14,000 pound Model 1000. Hi. (I've been burned in the past by the inferior "Acme" brand disintegrators.) When it arrived, I summoned my partner. Confidently, I told him, "I'm ready to test out my new Model 1000 Disintegrator! And brother, when it disintegrates, it disintegrates!" Then I flipped the lever to the "ON" position.And what do you know?.... It disintegrated. I'm left humiliated, with a small pile of atoms that cost me $127,769.27. I cannot recommend this product. I hope that some time in the future, perhaps by the 24th-and-a-half century, a more reliable disintegrator will become available. |
