Our home Playcenters offer an excellent and safe play structure for young children at all stages of development. The components are made of quality engineered, impact absorbing, UV-stabilized thermoplastic tubes, connectors and panels. The rigid components "lock" together to make a variety of structures to support the weight of pre-school age children playing (and adults to clean and maintain). The benefit of plastic components is that they have a high strength, without the weight of metal. In addition the plastic does not rust or corrode like metal or splinter like wood. If, by chance a component is damaged, it can be simply and very inexpensively replaced. There is no "critical" failure that requires the whole system to be discarded.
The modular construction system has been sold around the world for almost 30 years without any mishap attributable to the product. The components are extremely strong and rugged, have no sharp corners, have no protruding screws or bolts. Components are easily assembled and then safely secured with special locking screws. Our products contain no toxic materials, no PVC or phthalates. Our "residential" designs conform to ASTM residential playground safety standards.

 durable, versatile, functional, By = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: Home Playground Structure (Toy) We bought a smaller version of these components back in the 1980s when our children were small. We added to our kit several times over the years. My two active children and all their friends used these components in a million different configurations. When they were toddlers I built houses, a slide, counters for their stores, desks for their schools, cockpits for their airplanes, and cages for their zoo animals. As they got older they built all manner of structures for whatever adventure they were having. They became shelves and stools as well. As teens they dragged the components out of storage to build a dog house for a very pregnant stray dog, and soon her thirteen pups, to use as a home for a few months.Our set came with a book of various configurations which made it easy for me to build the initial structures and after a few projects we learned to balance the structures to make them safe for climbing.
