 MTH EP-2 Bi-Polar Well Worth the Value!, By = Durability:  = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: HO Bi-Polar w/PS3, MILW/Black #10251 (Toy) Although my MTH EP-2 Bi-Polar Milwaukee Road #10250 was not purchased on Amazon.com, it is one of the greatest HO scale locomotives in my collection! It comes with directional lights as well as road number lights and even a lit interior! You can run it on DC or DCC and the locomotive also has sounds that can be turned on and off via a switch under the forward section. There is a selection including the horn, the bells, speed of the engine accelerating and decelerating, track announcements (train departing/arriving) and others. In addition the pantographs raise and lower depending on the direction of the engine. A very unique feater is that if the direction is changed on the transformer, the engine slows down to a stop before reversing direction to minimize damage to the internal parts as well as reducing the risk of going off the track.
