I love the size of the cap, all my hair easily fits inside. and it's really cute design. The only thing I am finding is the it teds to leak around the edges. I have to blow dry just a little still, not much but I have wet hair near the base all the way around. The elastic needs to be just a little more snug. Maybe I got a lemon lol, as all the other reviews did not mention leaking. I purchased mine for $10. The price dropped since then. I won't purchase this particular model again but I do like it for the most part.Note:: After not a lot of continued use later, it is leaking more and my hair is getting really wet inside. It's not doing it's job at all. :-( I am highly disappointed in it's protection abilities. The double layer of elastic (around the edge and then again about 2 inches in on the cap) and the large roomy top really keep my crazy long curly hair IN. No more getting out of the shower with the edges of my hairline soaked. it doesn't leak at all for me as one reviewer mentioned. It dries so quickly and feels substantial (the thickness of the material). Just to agree with another reviewer who perhaps mistitled their review as "almost perfect" yet rated it appropriately (in my view) as 2 stars.Bottom line: this cap leaks and gets your hair wet. I would certainly not recommend it. Additionally I find the elastic band too large on the forehead - it easily slips down on my nose and does not feel comfortable on your skin. Because the elastic band is not flush with the skin surface, it lets in the water very easily. |
